Four Hindi poets died in a car accident near bhopal while they were coming back from a kavi-sammelan.
The names of the poets are -
- Om Prakash 'Aditya' - here is one by him
- Neeraj Puri
- Lal Singh Gujjar
- Om Vyas 'Om'
I practically grew up listening to Om Vyas 'Om'. He was our neighbor in Ujjain and was there in almost every function where he had a new poem to recite.

Hi Prashant! I was not familiar with Om Vyas-ji unfortunately until after his sudden death. I am from Indore but left to come to USA in 1991. I recently created Indori videos (se them at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=047D8E9DDC886940) and someone told me i sound like Om Vyas ji. I have now heard his 2 videos on You Tube. Sounds like a very funny, connecteded-to-the-roots man with keen observation.
